The RMM series permanent‑magnet synchronous motor drive system leverages the respective advantages of low‑speed permanent‑magnet motors, planetary gear reducers, and variable‑frequency control to deliver a cutting‑edge intelligent drive solution for permanent‑magnet electric motors.
The input speed is changed from the original asynchronous motor’s 1,000–1,489 r/min to that of a permanent‑magnet motor at 200–360 r/min. The original three‑stage reduction is replaced by a single-stage planetary gear set, followed by a pair of cylindrical gears for the output, thereby meeting the requirement of a dual‑shaft output with a final speed of 20–60 r/min.
The drive system features a compact structure, smooth operation, strong overload capacity, high low-speed torque, and robust safety and reliability. It effectively reduces friction losses and mechanical failures caused by the high-speed operation of conventional induction motors coupled with gear reducers, thereby extending the service life of the equipment.
